MADELENE

I am a creative and forward thinking piano teacher and proudly run my own teaching business focusing on delivering engaging and high quality lessons inspired by contemporary views on piano teaching.  I possess a first class music degree from The University of Huddersfield, specialising in classical piano performance, performance skills in musical theatre and popular music. I continued my training to concentrate on the area of Community Music, having studied for a Postgraduate Diploma at the University of York.  I am passionate about continuing to develop my teaching expertise by engaging in professional development from some of the most creative teachers and producers of educational resources in the world such as the creators behind 'Top Music Co'. and 'Vibrant Music Teaching'. I supplement with creative repertoire to develop playing by ear, improvisation and pop theory/chord based approaches.
